But I'm already getting the idea that what will push the key characters to act will be their love and not their duty. That is why the love of Aguiluz for Alwina will help them win and Alwina's love (not duty) that will make her successful as the savior. I just don't know how. It also means Gabriel's love for Alwina will make the conciliation of the Mulawin and Ravena possible even if they do not end up together. It is the underlying theme of the whole story, else why do we have a taong Mulawin (Alwina), encantadang Mulawin (Mulagat), the Pagaspas-Lawiswis eternal childhood love? And that is the reason why Paloma had to die: Because the impossiblity of a Mulawin ending up with a tao will end and they will not have to be condemned.

Does that mean Terong and Aviona will end up together? Oh well, when I brought that up I thought that it was farfetched, unless for the funny angle (cupid's mischief), but it also goes with the underlying theme that love chooses no one.
